UPGRADE AND MODERNIZATION OF THE AMPHITHEATRE IN KAVALA

The study on rebuilding the amphitheater of the Prefecture of Kavala, which will accommodate 460 spectators sheltering a wide variety of cultural events (plays, music events, lectures, etc.) as the only auditorium in the city. The acoustic survey was done by the method of mounting an extensive surface multispectral Diffuse type Schroeder (Quadratic Residue Diffusers QRD). The building will be constructed within the building fabric in the northwestern edge of the plot of County Hall on the road the Red Cross which is one of the most central pillars of the city, the entrance to the building is the communal open space shared by the Prefecture of the two buildings.
Today the area is already the auditorium of the Prefecture, which will be demolished and in its place will build the new building.
The new amphitheater is built to cover an area of ​​1695.87 m2 with total area is 2328.38 m2.
